Matthias Lebherz

Matthias Lebherz has extensive work experience in various industries. Matthias currently holds the position of Vice President, Commercial & Operations at Porex since November 2022. Prior to this, they served as Managing Director at Porex, where they worked on developing custom-engineered porous polymer solutions for customers' products.

In 2021, Matthias Lebherz worked as the Managing Director at Oxyphen GmbH | Filtration Group, a Swiss-based company specializing in microporous track-etched membranes used in various industries such as pharmaceuticals and biotechnology.

Before that, they had a long career at Philip Morris International, where they held several managerial positions. These roles included Manager Operations, Manager Production, Manager Production - Tobacco Products, and Manager Business Unit, among others.

Earlier in their career, Matthias Lebherz gained experience at companies such as adidas, Schenker LLC, Lufthansa Cargo, and Daimler AG, where they worked in various roles related to logistics, sales, and project implementation.

From 2004 to 2008, they attended Pforzheim University and obtained a Diplom Betriebswirt degree in International Business. In 2006, they briefly studied International Marketing at Tecnológico de Monterrey. In 2007, they further expanded their knowledge by attending SGH Warsaw School of Economics, focusing on Finance & Corporate Strategy.
