Richard Lynn, MBA, LSSGB has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Richard is currently working as the Global Automation and IoT Manager at Porex, where they ensure the accurate visibility and comprehension of the value Automation & Controls delivers. Richard also designs system structures and automation units to continuously improve Operational Equipment Efficiency (OEE) by 28%.

Prior to their current role, Richard worked as a Sr. Automation and Robotics Engineer at Polytec NORTH AMERICA. In this role, they designed automated robotic systems to increase production volume or precision in high-throughput operations. Richard also wrote programming code and performed simulations for robotic applications, provided system support and troubleshooting on PLCs, and conducted factory and site acceptance testing.

Richard has also gained experience as a Robotics Controls Engineer at Constellium, where they were responsible for the upkeep and integration of ABB and FANUC robots and Allen Bradley PLCs.
