Corey Gonzalves

Corey Gonzalves is a mechanical engineer with extensive experience in system design and project management. Currently serving as Lead System Designer at Porifera since June 2017, Corey previously held mechanical engineering positions at WaterSprout INC and Algae Systems, LLC, focusing on rainwater and greywater systems as well as bio-fuel process equipment design. With a background that includes guiding outdoor expeditions and teaching wilderness skills at California State University, Chico, Corey combines practical field experience with strong engineering expertise. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Chico, complemented by a transfer program in engineering from Santa Rosa Junior College.
