Thomas Herzog

Thomas Herzog has extensive experience in the energy and exploration sectors, currently serving as a Board Member at ÖGEW since March 2017 and as a Project Manager at Pörner Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH since March 2020. Previous roles at OMV include positions as a Research Project specialist and Well Crosssection Expert in the Near Field Exploration department, focusing on the Vienna Basin. Herzog's expertise encompasses well log analysis, 3D seismic evaluation, and the development of sequence stratigraphy models utilizing Petrel E&P software. Prior project management experience includes organizing events and operations for a startup bar, as well as an internship in drilling at OMV. Herzog holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological and Earth Sciences from the University of Vienna and Montanuniversität Leoben.
