Jim Moore

Jim Moore has extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as Manager of In-Use Vehicle Conformity at Porsche Cars North America since September 2003, after holding the position of Certification Engineer. Prior roles include Field Technical Specialist at Volvo from January 2001 to September 2003 and a Powertrain Engineer at Land Rover from 1996 to 2001. Jim also worked at Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. as a Field Technical Specialist from April 1994 to June 1996, where responsibilities included assisting dealer technicians with vehicle repairs and participating in Lemon Law arbitrations. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Applied Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology (2018-2020) and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth (1985-1990), with prior studies at the University of Southern California (1984-1985).
