Charisma Popillion

Charisma Popillion, Ed.D., currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent of School Leadership for the Port Arthur Independent School District, a position held since July 2025. Prior experience includes various leadership roles within the Beaumont Independent School District from September 2003 to July 2025, encompassing positions such as Senior Director of Innovation, High School Principal, and Elementary Campus Principal at a Demonstration School, as well as district-level responsibilities in areas including Section 504, Response to Intervention, Gifted and Talented, and Dyslexia Programs. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas Southern University, a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Lamar University, and a Bachelor's degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies, also from Lamar University.
