Karla Obregón

Dr. Karla Obregón is the Multilingual/Migrant Program Director. Originally from Nicaragua, she has served the Port Arthur Independent School District for over 20 years in different roles, including bilingual teacher, diagnostician, assistant principal, principal, and curriculum and instruction supervisor. Dr. Obregón continued her higher education at Lamar University, where she earned her Master of Education in Special Education in 2002, her Master of Education in Educational Administration in 2005, and her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership in 2018.
