Beth Rooney

Beth Rooney serves as Port Director at The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, a position held since August 2014. Rooney has also held roles as Deputy Director and Assistant Director of Strategy & Innovation, where responsibilities include oversight of policy, planning, legislative and regulatory affairs, as well as environmental sustainability and performance efficiency in the nation's third largest port. Prior to these roles, Rooney was the Manager of Port Security from September 2001 to July 2014. Rooney holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Transportation from the State University of New York Maritime College, completed in 1991.
