Debra Torres

Debra Torres is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in ethics, compliance, and litigation. Currently serving as the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer at The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey since January 2018, Torres leads the ethics and compliance program, ensuring adherence to the Employee Code of Ethics and overseeing various compliance initiatives. Prior to this role, Torres held significant positions at PepsiCo as Senior Vice President of Legal, where responsibilities included global compliance function leadership and advising the Audit Committee on ethics matters. As Managing Director at Kalorama Partners LLC, Torres provided regulatory and compliance guidance to C-suite executives, and previously served as a Senior Litigation Partner at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP, managing complex corporate and government litigation. Torres earned a J.D. from Yale Law School and a B.A. in History from Yale University.
