Kirsten Hernandez

Kirsten Hernandez is an accomplished manager and policy analyst currently serving as the Manager of Executive Initiatives & Policy at The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey since July 2020. Previous roles at the organization include Special Assistant to the Executive Director and Leadership Fellow, where significant contributions included leading process improvement projects and enhancing public transparency for the police department. Kirsten's experience also encompasses work as a Community Fellow at VAST - Valley Against Sex Trafficking, where program evaluation and policy analysis were key responsibilities, and as a Fellowship participant with NextGen America, where voter registration initiatives were successfully implemented. Educationally, Kirsten holds a Master of Arts in Political Science and Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Sociology, both from Lehigh University.
