Laura Francoeur is a seasoned wildlife biologist with extensive experience in managing wildlife programs across multiple airports. Currently serving as the Chief Wildlife Biologist at the Port Authority of NY & NJ since May 2009, Laura oversees wildlife initiatives at five major airports, including John F. Kennedy International and LaGuardia. Prior to this role, Laura was a Wildlife Biologist at the Port Authority from November 1999 to May 2009, where responsibilities included administering the wildlife program for John F. Kennedy International. Earlier experience includes conducting Wildlife Hazard Assessments with USDA-APHIS-WS from November 1995 to October 1999 and as an intern with the Bureau of Land Management in 1988. Laura holds a Master of Science in Wildlife Biology from Clemson University and a Bachelor of Arts in Zoology from Connecticut College, as well as experience studying abroad in France.
