Lary Mahoney

Lary Mahoney serves as the Chief Real Estate Officer and Director of the Real Property & Real Estate Development Division for Broward County Government since December 2017. From 1996 to 2017, Lary was the President of Mahoney & Company, Inc., specializing in real estate development and consulting. Previous experience includes holding senior leadership positions, such as Senior Vice President of Development at West End Resorts, Pvt. Ltd., where Lary managed a significant resort expansion project, and managing partner at NSM Buckhead Hotel, LLC, overseeing the development of a hotel in Atlanta. Lary also contributed as Vice President of Development for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, establishing key relationships for new developments in Asia and other regions. Early career experience includes Managing Director of Development at Radnor Corp., where Lary handled comprehensive operations for various real estate partnerships. Lary holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Georgia Institute of Technology and additional architectural qualifications from esteemed institutions in Switzerland and London.
