Mark then joined Sunbelt Consulting in 1995 as a Software Developer/Consultant, where they worked until 2001. At Sunbelt Consulting, they gained experience in software development and project management for various corporate clients in industries such as insurance, cellular, and retail. In 2002, Mark joined Florida International University as a Lead PeopleSoft Financials Developer. Mark led a team of programmers and was responsible for developing customized software solutions, maintaining delivered modules, and implementing/upgrading new software versions. Mark also worked closely with users to define project scope. Mark stayed with Florida International University until 2017. In that same year, they joined Broward County Government as a Lead PeopleSoft Financials Developer, where they continue to develop customized software solutions, maintain delivered modules, and implement/upgrade new software versions. Their expertise includes PeopleTools, PeopleCode, SQL, SQR, App Engine, XML/BI Publisher, Approval Workflow Engine, and Phire Administration.
Mark Kapras has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Statistics from William Paterson University of New Jersey. Mark also has a certification in Configuration Day 2020 from JSMpros, obtained in the year 2020.
