Nathaniel Klitsberg serves as the Broward County Transportation Surtax General Counsel, overseeing the county’s 1 Cent Transportation Surtax Program since September 2018. In this role, Nathaniel also functions as Senior Assistant County Attorney for Broward County Transit and the Transportation Department, as well as Managing Attorney for the Broward County Elections and Canvassing Practice Group. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President - Litigation Counsel at NRT LLC/Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate, providing comprehensive legal support across multiple states, and as an Assistant Public Defender at the Broward County Public Defender's Office, where Nathaniel handled a significant trial caseload. Nathaniel holds a Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in American History and Political Science from Tufts University.
