Timothy de Carion has over 30 years of work experience in various roles related to mechanical inspection, engineering, and energy code compliance. Timothy began their career as an Air Conditioning Mechanic at Hill York in 1981 and worked there until 1990. From 1990 to 1992, they served as a Plant Engineer at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Timothy then joined Miami Dade County in 1992 as a Mechanical Inspector before transitioning to the role of Chief Mechanical Inspector at the Town of Davie in 1994. Timothy held this position for over 25 years until 2020. Currently, Timothy is working as the Chief Energy Code Compliance Officer at Broward County Government.
Timothy de Carion completed their Associate of Science degree in Engineering from Miami Dade College between 1978 and 1980. Timothy then pursued a Journeyman degree in Mechanics from the AIR CONDITIONING, REFRIGERATION AND PIPEFITTING EDUCATION CENTER from 1980 to 1984. Timothy also holds various certifications in the field of Building Codes and Mechanical Inspection, obtained from institutions such as the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation and ICC Evaluation Service.
