William O'Reilly

William O'Reilly has a diverse work experience history, starting with their most recent role as the Director of Accounting at Broward County Government, which they have held since September 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Assistant Director of Accounting at the same organization from September 2019 to September 2020. Before joining Broward County Government, William worked as the Chief Financial Officer of the Albany County Airport Authority from June 2008 to August 2019. Their career began at the Office of the NYS Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli, where they worked as a staff member from September 1986 to June 2008.

William O'Reilly received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, which they attended from 1983 to 1985. William has also obtained additional certifications, including Certified Public Accountant from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation in December 2021, Certified Public Accountant from the New York State Department of Education in March 1998, and Certified Government Financial Manager from the AGA (Association of Government Accountants) in March 1996.
