John Bell

John Bell currently serves as the Superintendent of Port Jervis City School District since September 2022, proudly leading their alma mater. Prior to this role, John Bell was the Superintendent of Delaware Valley School District from August 2012 to August 2022, where leadership encompassed a district of 5,000 students and 650 employees. Earlier in the career, John Bell worked as the Assistant Superintendent at Port Jervis City School District from July 2006 to August 2012, overseeing educational operations for 3,000 students. John Bell's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University at Albany, a Master of Science in Elementary Education from The College of Saint Rose, a Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Leadership from SUNY New Paltz, and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Russell Sage College.
