Matthew Long

Matthew Long has a diverse work experience spanning multiple hotels and animal parks. Matthew currently works as the Operations Director at Port Lympne Hotel and Reserve & Howletts Wild Animal Park. Prior to this, they served as the General Manager at Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa for over 13 years, and as the Deputy General Manager at Ashdown Park Hotel & Country Club. Matthew also worked as the Reservations Manager at The St James's Club, London, and as the Groups Coordinator at Royal Garden Hotel. Matthew began their career as a Food & Beverage Trainee at Grosvenor House Hotel.

Matthew Long pursued their education in the field of Hotel and Catering Management. From 1992 to 1994, they attended Thanet College, where they earned a Bachelor of Technology - BTech degree. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Surrey and studied from 1994 to 1998, obtaining a BSc degree in Hotel & Catering Management.
