Paul Zealand

Paul Zealand has extensive executive experience, having held various significant leadership roles within the energy sector. Currently serving as Chairman and Director at Port Nelson Limited since May 2020, Zealand also participates as a Non-Executive Director for Genesis Energy and Channel Infrastructure NZ. Previous positions include Independent Consultant/Director at Zoenergy, Managing Director at Refining New Zealand, and CEO of Upstream at Origin Energy, overseeing exploration assets across multiple regions. Zealand's career began at Shell, where roles escalated from Graduate Engineer to Country Chairman of Shell New Zealand, encompassing various leadership positions globally. An MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School complements Zealand's Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Liverpool John Moores University.
