Annelies Oeyen

Annelies Oeyen currently serves as Port Environment Manager, Advisor to the CEO, and Corporate Communication Advisor at the Port of Antwerp-Bruges since March 2020. Prior to this role, Annelies worked at Psychiatrisch Centrum Bethanië from September 2013 to March 2020 as Communications Responsible, where responsibilities included developing and implementing strategic communication plans and managing crisis communication. Annelies also has experience as a Project Manager in Online Marketing at onlyhumans from December 2011 to August 2013, focusing on content creation and digital strategy. Academic achievements include a PhD researcher position in Spanish language and literature at Ghent University, with a strong emphasis on publishing and presenting research. Annelies holds multiple degrees and certifications from esteemed institutions, including master's degrees from the University of Antwerp and Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, as well as a masterclass in issue management and public affairs from Erasmus University.
