Chris Hughes

Chris Hughes is an experienced executive in the fields of procurement, supply chain management, and business transformation, currently serving as Business Transformation Director at the Port of Dover since April 2020. Previously, Chris held the position of Group Head of Procurement at Associated British Ports, where a new central procurement function was established. Chris's extensive career also includes significant roles at Heathrow, including Head of Procurement Strategy and Programme Commercial Lead, where strategic procurement initiatives and commercial management functions were developed. Educational credentials include multiple qualifications in procurement, management accounting, project management, and asset management, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Music from Leeds Conservatoire.
