Kaj Takolander

Kaj (Tico) Takolander is an experienced professional in passenger services and sales within the maritime and beverage industries. Currently serving as Vice President of Passenger Services at Port of Helsinki Ltd since May 2022, Kaj (Tico) previously held various leadership roles at Viking Line, including Sales Director and VP & Head of Sales and Marketing, where responsibilities encompassed passenger sales and marketing across Finland, the Baltic states, and Russia. At Finnlines Plc, Kaj (Tico) served as Head of Passenger Sales & Marketing and Customer Service, and later as Executive Vice President, overseeing passenger services and contributing to strategic management. Earlier career highlights include managing Copterline Oy, leading Red Bull Oy's Finnish subsidiary, and entrepreneurial work as a Partner at Oy Varios Group Ltd. Kaj (Tico) began their career in sales and marketing roles in the beverage sector at companies such as Oy Sinebrychoff Ab and Viking Line. Kaj (Tico) holds a Master of Science degree in Economics from Hanken School of Economics.
