Sheeba Varughese

Sheeba Varughese serves as the Chief Information Officer at the Port of Los Angeles since January 2023. Prior to this role, Sheeba held the position of Information Systems Manager at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power from November 2021 to December 2022. Between October 2017 and November 2021, Sheeba worked at Los Angeles World Airports, first as the Director of the IT Project Management Office and then as IT Project Portfolio Manager. Earlier experience includes a Project Manager role at Trinity Health and significant contributions at Los Angeles World Airports from 2010 to 2015, including management of a major CCTV System Enhancement Project that improved security at Los Angeles International Airport. Sheeba's career began at the Information Technology Agency for the City of Los Angeles from 2001 to 2010, focusing on microwave radio systems and data networks for public safety. Sheeba holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology.
