Career beginnings included roles as Senior Performance Analyst at the Office of the Auditor General for Western Australia and Senior Policy and Project Officer at Corrections Victoria. Caralene's educational background comprises a Postgraduate Degree in Criminal Justice from The University of Western Australia and a Bachelor's degree in Criminology from RMIT University.
