Alex Rose

Alex Rose has been working as a Senior Applications Analyst at the Port of Portland since May 2022. Prior to that, from February 2020 to May 2022, Alex worked as a Programmer Analyst II at Portland Community College. Before that, from March 2019 to February 2020, Alex held the role of Programmer Analyst I at Portland Community College. Additionally, from October 2015 to March 2019, Alex worked as a Computing Technology Specialist at Portland Community College.

Alex Rose's education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering Technology with a minor in Applied Mathematics from the Oregon Institute of Technology. This degree was obtained in 2017. Alex then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at Portland State University, completing the program in 2021. In addition to these degrees, Alex has obtained certifications including a ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification from ServiceNow in June 2023 and a Cybersecurity Graduate Certificate from Portland State University in June 2021.
