Beverly Pearman

Beverly Pearman currently serves as the Director of Public Safety & Security at the Port of Portland since May 2013, previously holding the position of Assistant General Counsel within the same organization. From June 2011 to June 2017, Beverly was a member of the Board of Directors at Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette. Prior experience includes working as a Partner at Stoel Rives LLP from October 1999 to May 2013, where the practice focused on complex business litigation, health care litigation, and environmental and natural resources litigation, representing clients in various legal proceedings. Earlier in their career, Beverly was a Reporter/Editor at The Mountaineer Publishing Co. in Waynesville, NC, from May 1993 to June 1996. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Furman University.
