Brian Gunn

Brian Gunn currently serves as the Real Estate Development & Leasing Manager at the Port of Portland since November 2023. Previous experience includes a role as an Associate at CBRE from April 2021 to November 2023, and as an Assistant Business Development Manager at Mortenson from July 2014 to May 2020, where responsibilities encompassed managing project pursuits and site assessments. During tenure at Mortenson, Brian also served as a Real Estate Development Associate and Project Engineer, focusing on site selection and development across various sectors. Earlier positions include a Planning Intern at the City of Santa Rosa and a Research Associate at Sonoma State University. Brian holds a Master’s Degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning and a Graduate Certificate in Real Estate Development from Portland State University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies, Planning from Sonoma State University.
