Pdxnext Central Projects Office, Project Design/operations Lead at Port of Portland

Danny Garcia's work experience spans over several decades and includes various roles in different organizations. Danny began their career in the US Air Force as an NCO from May 1978 to April 1984. Danny then joined the Federal Aviation Administration as an Air Traffic Control Specialist, Terminal, from October 1984 to September 1994. Garcia then joined the Port of Portland, where they held multiple roles. From September 1994 to August 1997, they served as Manager, Airside Operations Plans and Projects, where they evaluated and prioritized aviation construction projects. From August 1997 to December 2017, they held the position of Sr. Manager Airside Operations, overseeing airfield planning and airport operations. Finally, Garcia joined the PDXNext Central Projects Office as the Project Design/Operations Lead in December 2017, managing a team and coordinating a $2.5 billion airport expansion program.

Danny Garcia attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1976 to 1978, where they studied Aeronautical Engineering. Prior to their time at the university, they also attended Wahtonka High School. It's not clear when they attended high school or if they received any specific degree or studied a particular field of study there.
