Dean Norlin has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Dean started their career in 1985 at Anchor Engineering in Marco Island, FL, where they worked as a Project Engineer until 1990. Dean then joined Coleman Engineering as a Project Engineer for three years, from 1995 to 1998. In 1997, they briefly worked as a Branch Manager at Professional Service Industries, Inc. (PSI). Dean then moved on to the City of Oregon City, where they held the position of Senior Engineer from 1998 to 2005. Since 2005, Dean has been working at the Port of Portland as a Project Engineer.
Dean Norlin attended Kingsford High School from 1976 to 1979. Following their high school education, from 1980 to 1985, they studied Civil Engineering at Michigan Technological University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree.
