Steven Danielson has over 20 years of experience in safety, health, and environmental management, with a focus on driving compliance and enhancing safety culture. Steven is currently the Director of Safety, Health, and Loss Control at Port of Portland, where they are responsible for developing and implementing policies to ensure a safe working environment. Prior to this, Steven worked at Insitu, Inc. as the Manager of Safety, Health, and Environmental, where they successfully established and managed global policies and processes. Earlier in their career, they held the position of Director of Safety, Health, and Environmental at North Pacific Group Inc., and Business Safety Manager at Louisiana Pacific Corporation. Overall, Steven has a strong track record of effectively leading safety initiatives and promoting a culture of safety within organizations.

Steven Danielson has a Master's degree in Industrial Safety from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Steven also holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the same institution. In addition to their educational background, Steven has obtained a certification in Airport Certified Employee - Safety Management Systems from the American Association of Airport Executives in October 2020.
