Gerwin Stam

Gerwin Stam is a Project Engineer at the Port of Rotterdam since June 2022, with previous experience as a Pipeline Engineer at Bilfinger Tebodin from June 2015 to May 2022. Gerwin's earlier role included working as a Post Graduate at Deltares from December 2013 to December 2014, where research focused on the morphological behavior of large-scale nourishments along the Dutch coast, which culminated in the writing of a journal and conference paper. Additionally, Gerwin served as a Graduate Student, completing an MSc thesis titled "Evolution of beach extensions," which involved numerical modeling using UNIBEST and Delft3D. The professional journey began with an Assistant role in the Hydrodynamic Department at Boskalis in July 2013. Gerwin holds an MSc in Hydraulic Engineering with a specialization in Coastal Engineering and a BSc in Civil Engineering, both from Delft University of Technology, following a Gymnasium education at Comenius College.
