Rob Altena

Rob Altena has a diverse background in safety and crisis management, currently serving as Officier van Dienst and Stafmedewerker Vakbekwaamheid & Crisisbeheersing at the Port of Rotterdam since June 2015. Previous roles include Informatiemanager CoPI & ROT at Veiligheidsregio Rotterdam-Rijnmond from January 2019 to January 2022 and Junior Consultant SHEQ at MWH Global from March 2014 to June 2015. Earlier experience at the Port of Rotterdam involved supporting incident response and developing training programs for officials. Rob also contributed to e-learning modules for incident management and worked as an inspection officer within the domain of disaster management at the Inspectie Veiligheid en Justitie.
