Sameera Herath, Bsc (Hons) QS, is an experienced Project Management Officer (PMO) Analyst currently serving at the Port of Salalah since March 2011. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day activities and projects within the COO's purview, focusing on risk assessment, value engineering, and lean improvements across multi-disciplinary functions. Previously, Sameera held various roles, including Structural Draftman at Cowi & Partners LLC and Sr. Architectural & Structural Draftman at Industrial & Commercial Development (Pvt) Ltd, showcasing a strong background in structural design and project strategy. Educational credentials include a Bsc in Quantity Surveying from the University of Reading and a Lean Practitioner certification from Lean Academy, along with an Advanced Diploma in Construction Technology from City & Guilds.
