Jen Ha has a diverse work experience spanning several different organizations. Jen started their career as a Food Service Worker at Tapioca Express in 2016, where they prepared the store for production and served customers. In 2017, they volunteered with AIESEC in the United States and supported and accompanied individuals with intellectual disabilities, as well as created teaching materials in Thailand. Jen also had a Student Internship with the City of San Diego and worked as a Student Worker at the County of San Diego Board of Supervisors District 1 Office, where they provided administrative support, conducted research, and presented proclamations at community events. In 2020, they joined Just in Time for Foster Youth as a Youth Services Coordinator, and became a member of the National Advisory Council for Children's Legal Representation at the National Association of Counsel for Children. Most recently, in 2022, they became an Office Assistant at the Port of San Diego.

Jen Ha obtained their Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from San Diego State University, attending from 2015 to 2020.
