Joshua Kellems

Joshua Kellems has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Joshua currently holds the position of Principal Marketing and Public Relations Representative at the Port of San Diego, a role they have held since July 2023. Prior to this, Joshua worked at KUSI Television as a Content Manager from November 2018 to July 2023. In this role, they managed various aspects of the KUSI Newsroom, including overseeing reporters, producers, photographers, editors, and the assignment desk. Joshua also produced, wrote, and stacked news shows for broadcast, and ensured reporters and photographers had up-to-date information for their stories.

Before their time at KUSI, Joshua served as an Assignment Editor at KGTV Channel 10 from April 2016 to August 2017. Joshua also held the same position at KUSI Television from January 2015 to April 2016, where they worked as a Senior Evening Assignment Editor.

In addition to their work in the media industry, Joshua has experience in political campaigns and organizations. Joshua worked as a Field Manager at NW Democracy Resources from February 2014 to June 2014, and as a Staff member for the Nathan Fletcher for Mayor Campaign from September 2013 to November 2013. Joshua also worked on the Lorena Gonzales for State Assembly Campaign in April and May 2013.

Before their involvement in politics, Joshua held the role of Fabricator at Atwood & Thompson Inc. from April 2013 to August 2013. Joshua also worked at Alarus Agency as a Junior Account Executive from July 2012 to April 2013.

Joshua's professional journey began with an internship in Ron Roberts' Office at the County of San Diego from June 2011 to September 2011.

Joshua Kellems attended Gonzaga University from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science. Joshua'sfield of study focused on Political Science and Government.
