Laura Wagner

Laura Wagner has a diverse work experience spanning several fields. Laura began their career in 2007 as a Special Assistant at the USDA, where they worked on issues related to bio-energy and specialty crops legislation. Laura then moved on to the U.S. House of Representatives, where they served as an Office Manager, engaging with constituents and handling casework needs. In 2011, they joined The Fields as an Administrator, where they played a key role in forming a professional development organization and implementing new programs. Since 2015, Laura has been working at the Port of San Diego, initially as Commissioner and Executive Services and later as a Policy Analyst. In these roles, they monitored legislative portfolios, developed monitoring systems, and balanced the needs of the Board of Port Commissioners. Throughout their work experience, Laura consistently demonstrated strong research, organizational, and customer service skills.
