Tracey Sandberg, MBA, JD has an extensive work experience spanning over several industries. Tracey started their career in 1988 at National University, where they served as a Telecommunications Manager and Analyst. During their tenure, they managed a $1 million telecommunications budget and oversaw various projects, including the implementation of new campus locations and upgrading the mainframe terminal to PC.

In 1996, Tracey joined the International Alliance of Avaya Users, Inc. as the Chief Operations Officer and Volunteer Member of the Board of Directors. Tracey played a crucial role in managing the organization's corporate revenues and expenses, as well as influencing product and policy direction through their partnership with Avaya.

Following their time at the International Alliance of Avaya Users, Tracey worked for Mitsubishi Motors as the Manager of Telecommunications & Dealer Systems. In this role, they provided telecommunications and dealer systems support, developed strategic roadmaps, and managed a $7 million budget.

From 2004 to 2011, Tracey held multiple roles at Carrington Mortgage Holdings and New Century Mortgage, including Director of Network Services, Telecommunications Manager, and Enterprise Architect. Tracey oversaw the architecture and operations of the company's voice/data network, telephony and call center infrastructure, security operations, and network engineering/support.

At Bridgepoint Education, Tracey served as the Associate Vice President of Information Technology from 2012 to 2017. Tracey managed a $24 million enterprise infrastructure operations budget and led multiple units, including cloud strategy, voice/network engineering, and IT vendor management.

Most recently, Tracey joined the Port of San Diego in 2018, where they currently hold the position of Chief Technology Officer. In this role, they are responsible for the overall strategy, innovation, and operations of information technology. Tracey supports various unique business departments and shared services, ensuring efficient and effective IT solutions.
