Coates Mark has extensive experience in airport operations, currently serving as Senior Manager of Airport Operations at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport/Port of Seattle since 2008. Previously, Coates held the same title at the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) from 1993 onward, and served as Airport Duty Manager at Atlanta International Airport from 1987 to 1992. Coates began a career in aviation as an Air Traffic Controller in the United States Air Force from 1983 to 1987. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and an Associate's degree in Air Traffic Control from the Community College of the Air Force.
