Heather Munden

Heather Munden, PE, currently serves as the Director of Engineering at the Port of Seattle, overseeing major construction projects since October 2010. Previous roles at the Port include Construction Manager and Resident Engineer in Seaport and Airfield Engineering Construction Services. From January 2014 to December 2017, Munden served as a City Council Member for the City of Snoqualmie, advocating for issues such as education, environmental sustainability, and public safety. Prior experience includes working as an Engineer at KBA, Inc. and as a Research Technician at the Seattle Biomedical Research Institute. Munden holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Pacific Lutheran University.
