John Flanagan

John Flanagan currently serves as the Senior State Government Relations Manager at the Port of Seattle, a position held since August 2023. Prior to this, John worked at the Washington State Office of the Governor from November 2016 to August 2023, holding roles including Senior Policy Advisor and Outreach Assistant, where responsibilities involved event coordination, stakeholder engagement, and policy development. John's experience also includes serving as Finance Associate for Jay Inslee's gubernatorial campaign, where fundraising efforts exceeded $8 million, and as Legislative Director at the Alliance for Gun Responsibility, where a successful field strategy was implemented to engage constituents with legislators. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Law, Societies, and Justice, as well as English from the University of Washington, earned in 2014.
