Tamara Gerrard

Tamara Gerrard is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in employment law. Currently serving as Senior Port Counsel at the Port of Seattle since January 2023, Tamara previously held the position of Assistant City Attorney at the Seattle City Attorney's Office, where responsibilities included representing the City in labor and employment disputes and ensuring compliance with employment laws. Prior to that, Tamara was Of Counsel, Director, and Associate at Torkildson Katz Moore Hetherington & Harris, representing employers in litigation and advising on compliance with various employment laws. Early career experience includes handling personal injury and insurance litigation at Reid Richards & Miyagi and drafting legal documents at Sonnenschein, Nath & Rosenthal. Tamara holds a Juris Doctor from Hastings College of the Law and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
