Dave Sleigh

Dave Sleigh has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Dave started their career as a Data Entry Manager at Regional Telephone Directory from July 1990 to March 1994. Dave then transitioned to become the Owner of Web Hosting Services from June 1994 to August 1996.

Dave then joined Wizards of the Coast as a Software Engineer II from June 1996 to April 2003, where they were responsible for UI design and management of the company's Brand Asset Management tool.

Dave then worked as a Software Engineer at Pop! Multimedia from August 2003 to September 2003, developing ASP applications for WamuFilms.com. Following that, they became a Software Engineer at Washington State Employees Credit Union in September 2003, focusing on UI design for the Payday Lending service. Dave continued with the Credit Union as a Software Engineer from February 2004 to May 2004, working on the creation of a dynamic application for their Payday Lending service.

Dave joined GenCon LLC as a Technical Specialist from September 2003 to November 2004, where they were involved in network engineering, administration, tech support, and software analysis and design.

From June 2004 to July 2005, Dave worked as a Web Development Engineer at Microsoft, administering development environments and managing content for the company's website.

Dave then joined Port of Tacoma in July 2005 and held various roles, starting as a Web Development Engineer until October 2006, during which they were responsible for software analysis and design of the port container management system. Dave then became a Senior Software Engineer, managing and administering Enterprise Applications. In January 2010, they were promoted to the role of Lead Enterprise Architect, leading a diverse team in the management and implementation of Enterprise Applications changes. Finally, in January 2018, they assumed the position of Solutions Architect, focusing on the development and implementation of Data Driven Strategy and Cloud Migration.

Throughout their work experience, Dave has gained expertise in areas such as system administration, application administration, software development, project management, process analysis and development, asset management, and various technologies including SQL, .NET, ASP, and many others.

Dave Sleigh completed their education in a chronological order. From 1983 to 1986, they attended Mount Tahoma High School and obtained their High School Diploma. Following this, from 1986 to 1990, they enrolled at Tacoma Community College where they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Computer and Information Sciences, General.

In addition to their formal education, Dave also obtained a certification in Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in August 2020.
