Trisha Perez, PHR, SHRM-CP

Trisha Perez has over 20 years of work experience in human resources. Trisha is currently a Manager, Human Resources at Port of Tacoma, a position they have held since January 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Human Resources Generalist at the same company from 2016 to 2021.

Before joining Port of Tacoma, Trisha worked as a Human Resources Generalist at Pacific Propeller International, LLC from 2012 to 2016. Trisha also served as a Human Resources Manager at Adams County Housing Authority from 2008 to 2012.

Trisha's earlier experience includes working as an Office Manager at Leader's Challenge from 2007 to 2008. Trisha also held the position of Production Scheduler at Rocky Mountain Clothing Company from 1999 to 2004, as well as at Miller International during the same period.

Throughout their career, Trisha has gained expertise in various HR roles and has demonstrated their ability to effectively manage human resources functions in different organizations.

Trisha Perez, PHR, SHRM-CP, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Communications, which they obtained from Midland University from 1994 to 1998. Trisha further enhanced their education by obtaining certifications in HR-related fields. In December 2010, they earned the certification of Professional in Human Resources from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. Additionally, in January 2016, Trisha completed the SHRM-CP certification program offered by the Society for Human Resource Management.
