Vuthy T.

Vuthy T. has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Vuthy started their career as an Internet Technical Support Rep at Stream Global Services in 1998 and then worked as a Cambodian Linguist/Project Manager at CTS LanguageLink from 2000 to 2001. Vuthy then transitioned into web development roles, working as a Web Systems Developer at TAK Group from 2001 to 2003, and as a Software Developer at Mid-Columbia Medical Center from 2004 to 2005.

Vuthy gained experience in the healthcare industry and information technology while at Mid-Columbia Medical Center. Vuthy was involved in data-driven web application development and served as the webmaster/administrator for two public websites of the Medical Center.

Vuthy then joined HDR as a Web Application Developer in 2005 before moving to Harland Financial Solutions in 2006. At Harland Financial Solutions, Vuthy worked as an IT Software Engineer, supporting various internal business operations including finance, marketing, and product development. Vuthy gained experience in intranet application development, database design, and agile software development methodologies.

In 2007, Vuthy joined Parametrix as a Software Developer. Vuthy played a role in project management and quality delivery in the architecture/engineering/construction industry. Vuthy was responsible for software and database development, as well as development infrastructure design and support.

Most recently, Vuthy worked at the Port of Tacoma as a Sr. Software Engineer from 2012. Vuthy supported users and maintained two port-wide business application systems, IBM WebSphere & Maximo Enterprise Asset Management and Microsoft SharePoint Server Products and Technologies. Vuthy gained experience in SQL programming, Maximo database design, and SharePoint deployment and content development.

Vuthy T. completed an Associate of Science - Oregon Transfers degree in English, Economics, and Computer Information System from Portland Community College from 1992 to 1994. Subsequently, from 1995 to 1996, Vuthy pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, Statistics, and Sociology at Portland State University. Vuthy continued their education at Portland State University and obtained a Master of Science degree in General Economics, Econometrics, Public Finance, and Economic Development Issues from 1996 to 1998.

In addition to the formal education, Vuthy T. has also obtained several certifications. In October 2020, Vuthy earned the Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft. They also acquired the ITIL 4 Foundation Certificate in March 2020 from PeopleCert. Lastly, Vuthy holds the ITIL 3 Foundation Certificate, although the institution and the specific date of attainment are not provided.
