Marisol Martinez, SHRM-CP has work experience in two organizations, starting with Hillsborough County in 2009. Marisol worked as a Utilities Customer Service Representative and Field Collector until 2012. After that, they joined Port Tampa Bay in 2012 and worked in two roles, first as a Program Coordinator and Assistant to Facilities Director until 2019, and then as a Human Resources Analyst.
Marisol Martinez, SHRM-CP, completed the Professional Human Resources SHRM-CP/SCP Preparation Program at the University of Central Florida in 2020. Prior to this, they attended the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez from 1992-1995 and studied Social Sciences with a focus on Psychology and Political Science. In 2020, Marisol obtained their SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM. In 2021, they also obtained two additional certificates: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate and USF Modern Management Tools Certificate, both from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education.
