Port Tampa Bay
Raul Alfonso's work experience includes various roles in the port industry. Raul started their career at PortMiami in 1987, where they worked in intermodal operations before becoming the Marketing & Trade Development Manager from 1992 to 1997. Raul then joined Hutchison Ports in 1998 as the Director of Marketing & Business Development for the Americas until 2003. Following that, they worked at the Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) from 2002 to 2013, first as the Director of Marketing and Business Development and later as the Senior Director of Marketing & Business Development. Finally, in 2013, they joined Port Tampa Bay as the Executive Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer, a role they currently hold.
Raul Alfonso attended Florida International University from an unspecified start date until 1983. Raul pursued a field of study in Business Administration and Management, General, and did not obtain a specific degree during their time there.
