Emma Mellows currently holds the position of Maintenance Planner at Port Waratah Coal Services, where responsibilities include mechanical planning at Kooragang Coal Terminal and electrical masterdata control at both Kooragang and Carrington Coal terminals since April 2023. Prior to this role, Emma served as a Contract Controller and Industrial Electrician at InfraBuild from December 2018 to April 2023. Emma's career began as an Industrial Electrician at Bulga Coal from January 2008 to February 2017. Emma completed education at St. Catherine's College from 1998 to 2003.

Port Waratah Coal Services have been receiving, stockpiling, blending and loading coal for export in the Port of Newcastle for 40 years. We own and manage the Kooragang and Carrington Coal Terminals, with a combined capacity of 145 million tonnes per annum (mtpa). We have approximately 350 employees working across our business, operating our terminals 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.
