Mike Didier has a diverse profile with extensive experience in public service and real estate. Since April 1993, Mike Didier has served as an MPO Operator/Firefighter at the Port Washington Fire Department, managing fire pump operations, driving fire apparatus, and conducting preventive maintenance while being trained in emergency fire suppression and CPR. Additionally, Mike Didier has been an agent at RE/MAX United since October 2004, continuing a family legacy in real estate initiated by grandfather Nick Didier. Since April 2011, Mike Didier has held the position of Town Chairman for Port Washington, overseeing town roads and infrastructure. Furthermore, involvement with the Ozaukee County Coroner's Office includes assisting the elected coroner in determining the cause and manner of deaths in the county. Mike Didier studied at Universal Technical Institute from 1993 to 1995.

The Port Washington Fire Department was established in 1852 with a handful of dedicated citizens to provide the City of Port Washington with a fire service. Although the equipment, methodology, and training has changed one very important part of this equation has remained--ITS MEMBERSHIP. Through their pride, courage, honor, and community involvement the members of the Port Washington Fire Department continue to offer the very best in providing citizens with and tourists with the safest possible city to live in or visit.
