Karel Vermaas

Karel Vermaas has extensive experience in the construction and maintenance industry, currently serving as Projectleider at Portaal since April 1997, where responsibilities have included roles such as opzichter for various maintenance tasks and project leadership in planned maintenance, with specialties in asbestos management, safety, collaboration, and mentor guidance. Prior to Portaal, Karel Vermaas held the position of Werkvoorbereider at Volkshuisvesting Arnhem from June 1992 to March 1997, overseeing a rayon office and managing teams and contractors. Additionally, Karel Vermaas worked briefly as a verhuurmedewerker at ARMA Machine Verhuur in May 1992 and progressed through various roles in Gerritsen Bouwgroep B.V. from June 1987 to May 1992, starting as an assistant carpenter and advancing to assistant uitvoerder.
