Allen Upward, P.Eng. has been working in the engineering field since 2004. Allen began their career as a Development Engineer at Western Clinical Engineering Ltd., a position they held until 2006. Allen then moved on to The University of British Columbia, where they served as a Research Engineer & Project Leader until 2010. After that, they worked as Director of R&D and Engineering Manager at SunCentral Inc. until 2017. Since then, they have been employed as a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer at ELIX Wireless Charging Systems and, most recently, as Senior Engineer - Product Development at Portable Electric.
Allen Upward, P.Eng. began their education in 1999, when they completed a Diploma of Electronic Engineering Technology at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. In 2001, they attended Camosun College, where they completed an Electrical Engineering Bridge Program. Allen then attended the University of Victoria, where they completed their Bachelor's of Engineering in Electrical Engineering in 2004.
